Dog Vaccines
Ideally Puppies are vaccinated at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age, and then a booster is given 1 year later. This series of puppy vaccinations provide protection against a number of deadly diseases including Rabies. These are core vaccines that are repeated once every three years thereafter according to current recommendations. Rabies need only be boosted every three years for pets that reside in British Columbia after one year of age. Additional Vaccines (vaccinations other than core vaccines) for diseases like Lyme Disease or Kennel Cough will be considered for your pet on an individual basis.
