Parasite Control
Pets are subject to many different types of internal and external parasites, some of which can be passed onto us. Many parasites are transmitted by other untreated pets or wildlife, such as bears, raccoons and coyotes, which frequent our area. Some external parasites include fleas, ticks, lice and mites. Internal parasites include roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, giardia and coccidia. Speak to Dr. Honey or Dr. Angela Dattolico further about regular preventions such as flea control, vaccinations and de-worming.
When traveling, locally or abroad, with you pet, check with Dr. Honey or Dr. Angela Dattolico to discuss prevention against parasites, which frequent other area such as the BC Interior and the United States like heartworm.
